We finished the newly updated Foothills Trail Conference map for the 40th Anniversary of this great trail last month and the new maps have arrived! Extending all the way across the Upstate of South Carolina, this trail is a must for any hiker/back packer visiting the region. Including spur trails, there are 107 miles of trail. The trail extends from Oconee State Park to Table Rock State Park with a spur trail connecting Caesar’s Head State Park and the Mountain Bridge Wilderness. It also travels just below Gorges State Park in North Carolina. Magnificent views and spectacular waterfalls are just some of the highlights of this trail. All trail data provided via GPS from the Foothills Trail Conference. We loved the previous Foothills Trail Map and used it more than once but believe (in our opinion) this map is a great improvement. Thanks to the Foothills Trail Conference for giving us the opportunity to update this map. They were a true pleasure to work with and I think the new map reflects the great partnership forged between the Foothills Trail Conference and Pisgah Map Company, LLC. All proceeds from this map go directly to supporting the trail so get out and buy a copy!
